Behavior Technician
Job Description
Provide 1:1 in-home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Follow patient's treatment plan and collect data on electronic data system
Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) supervisor to coordinate care
Communicate with families regarding details/performance of patient's session
Log and submit timesheet and billing entries
Complete trainings as-needed
Qualifications
21 years of age or older
At least 1 year experience working in the field of ABA
Experience working with individuals diagnosed with ASD
Technologically proficient; familiar with electronic data collection
BACB-approved Registered Behavior Technician Training (preferred)

Job Description
Serve as the supervisor for team of direct care clinicians including graduate fellows and behavior technicians
Conduct intake appointment
Conduct initial and/or continuing client skill and behavioral (re)assessments
Develop individualized ABA interventions (e.g., behavior plans, skill acquisition protocols) for each client
Monitor client progress and make timely updates/modifications to intervention plans/protocols
Provide weekly supervision for direct care clinicians
Provide regular parent and/or caregiver training in ABA
Serve as supervising clinician for team members with RBT certifications and/or those accruing LBA/BACB experience hours
Assist with new hire training and agency-wide trainings
Facilitate regular interdisciplinary communication and collaboration
Qualifications
Must possess a BCBA Certification and NYS licensure (LBA); supervision for LBA-LPs available
Master’s degree in a related field (e.g. ABA, Special Education, Psychology)
At least 3 years working with clients with autism spectrum disorders (ASD); experience working in home-based and school settings
Familiarity and ability to administer and interpret a variety of clinical assessments (such as VBMAPP, AFLS, ABLLS, ADOS-2, etc.)
Completion of 8-hour supervision training through BCBA (preferred); ability to supervise RBTs and graduate fellows accruing LBA and BACB hours
Experience using Central Reach practice management software (preferred)
Ability to commit to at least 15 billable hours per week, 20-25 total working hours
Reliable transportation within Brooklyn and Lower Manhattan
